      In the Mercer Co. Archives Vol. I (Deed Book I) is the following entry:

      A-1-186 Aug 10, 1804. Thomas Felton to Nathan Weyate, $110.00, a tract in Mercer County on Shenango creek inteh 4th districk of donation lands. 100 acres bounded east by "corner of my track, on which I now live", west by Thomas and John Cannon. Ack: Thomas Felton and wife Mary. Rec: Jan 5, 1805.

      In the Mercer Co. History, 1888, I see Nathan Wyatt mentioned on page 592 as an early settler in Shenango Twp., and on page 632 as a Shenango Twp. official (an overseer) in 1813.

      On page 148, Thomas Felton is in the list of taxables for 1800, and is a township official (an appraiser) for Shenango Twp. in 1806.]--Lynne Nuibe at http://genforum.genealogy.com/pa/mercer/messages/684.html
