(They had a daughter Elizabeh (Betsy) Simpson and her sister Polly who was unborn at the time of his death according to his will) She [Hannah] was his cousin and his father Col Southy Simpson was her guardian and she later married Garrett Topping when Southy Simpson(Abt 1740) died Bef 8 Nov 1794. Hannah and Southy Simpson, had 3 children, Nancy born 5 June 1787 Accomack Co,died 4 Aug 1792, Accomack Co., Southy Simpson, Jr. born 20 Nov 1790 Accomack Co., died 24 July 1792 Accomack Co., Elizabeth (Betsy) born 8 Nov 1788 Accomack Co., she was the only one who lived, she married John Watson, in 16 Dec 1809 in Frederick County, Maryland, they moved to Richland County, Ohio and later moved to DeKalb County, Indiana, where they lived and died. They are buried in the Watson Cemetery, Jackson County, Indiana, there is a plaque on her grave as she is the Granddaughter of Rev Col. Southy Simpson.
